Second Time Round has a full service maintenance and repair shop. We specialize in Swiss wristwatches and pocket watches, including vintage watches and all complicated timepieces. Our repairs are guaranteed for one year for the services that we provide (our guarantee). Should any part (s) need to be replaced, we will advise you along with an estimate prior to replacement. All work is done on-site by our staff and expert watchmaker. Please see below for a price guide and details of the work involved and the procedure we follow when carrying out a general maintenance service. Please note that owing to the inherent vagaries of horological repairs, in all instances the prices quoted on this website will only be adhered to subject to viewing. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Arrow Manual - £65 + VAT
Arrow Automatic - £85 + VAT
Arrow Chronograph - £110 + VAT
Arrow Quartz - Battery changes only at a cost of £10 inc. VAT, unless we supplied the watch.

Upon receipt of your package, we will review the condition and provide you with an estimate before any work is carried out. The general maintenance service (with no replacement of parts) is customarily completed within two weeks of receipt.

Watches- All new and pre-owned watches sold by Second Time Round are guaranteed to be genuine and in good condition, and are also guaranteed to be free of defects for a period of at least a year.

Whilst the incident of defects in new watches are extremely low, there may be occassions in which warranty work becomes necessary. Any warranty work will be handled directly between you and Second Time Round. In such cases, the watch will need to be returned to us. In addition, Second Time Round keeps detailed sales records so that we may answer your questions regarding past purchases (such as warranty work).

In our experience most warranty work normally requires simply adjustments or a battery replacement. However, in the event of return for repairs of watches under warranty, Second Time Round reserves the right to repair or replace the watch at our discretion. Water damage, or damage due to neglect or misuse is not covered by Second Time Round. In addition, unauthorized service will result in the termination of this warranty with Second Time Round.

Vintage Watches- All vintage watches sold by Second Time Round are guaranteed to be genuine* and are guaranteed to be free from defects for a period of at least 90 days depending on the particular watch.

*Some vintage watches may have refinished dials. If this is the case you will be informed of it prior to purchase.
